Blind man teaches others to use computer

Since summer 2005 I offer online courses on the internet that are also accessible and usable for blind people. I thought this was a good idea (at least all my blind learners do), but now I could read this amazing story:

Blind man teaches others to use computer

It describes a blind teacher, Mr.Ezekiel Gadami, who is instructing other blind people to use the computer. I think this is an amazing story worth reading.

The winner takes it all - almost

When I recently read an online book (PDF) about permission marketing I learned about Zipf's law:

Lookup Zipf's law in Wikipedia

It seems that the first place is always much better than the second or tenth, especially on the internet. I just got reminded about that, after I recently read about "Make easy money" or "Earn a lot of money on the internet". These are in most cases multi-level-marketing (MLM) techniques that tells you how to collect a lot of money from other people. Only the guy at the top will get rich from this.

So keep in mind Zipf's law, when you see such a snowball system next time ;-)

Skip Intro – Or rather do not?

Question: Which is the link that gets the most clicks on the Internet? Answer: "skip intro".
Who does not know and hate these gaudy loud and completely useless Flash® intros. They can be found on several web sites if you enter the site. How nice it is, if the "skip intro" really works and you will be redirected to the content with the really interesting information.
I wonder if there may be one or some Flash® intros that you won't just click away.
If anybody has suggestions, please write (use the comment here or send me an e-mail).
